The i-Land Fest Grand Parade is just as much for the spectators as it is for the participants! We invite the entire community to line the streets of downtown Victoria and enjoy the vibrant costumes, pulsating soca music, and infectious Caribbean energy.
Here are a few important guidelines for spectators:
📍 Watch from the sidelines: Please stay on the sidewalks or designated viewing areas. For everyone’s safety, do not enter the parade route or walk alongside the floats or masqueraders.
🚫 Do not interrupt the parade: We kindly ask that all spectators avoid stopping masqueraders or interrupting the flow of the parade for photos, conversations, or dancing. Let the parade flow smoothly so everyone can enjoy the full experience.
📸 Take photos from a distance: You’re welcome to take photos and videos from the sidelines—just be sure to give space to masqueraders, floats, and parade marshals.
🎉 Show your love and support: Cheer, wave your flags, dance from the sidelines, and help us create an unforgettable atmosphere for all.
